Au Pair Spain
The au pair program is aimed to offer the chance to young people to have an experience abroad while being hosted in families with children.

Spanish Au Pair Program:
Length of stay:
1-3 months
We place Au Pairs throughout Spain.
These young men and women provide child care services in exchange for room, board, a weekly stipend, and contributions towards education.
Benefits
- 20h demi-au pair : up to 50€ per week
- Up to 30H: minimum 70€/week and in big cities (Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla) host family pay for monthly transport ticket or they pay 75€/
week. - 30-40h/week-AuPair plus between 75 – 100€ week. Rarely during school year but frequently during summer period. In Spain from end June, the 24th till 15th September. Au pair pay for her Health insurance or family can cover 50% if not European citizen.
Requirements
- Female, aged between 18-30 years;
- Grade 12;
- Good health;
- Good English speaker;
- Clean criminal record;
- Valid South African Passport (or proof that you have applied for one);
- Some babysitting experience, and/or day care experience
Responsibilities/Duties
As an au pair you will primarily take care of your host family’s children. Additionally, you will be put in charge of minor household duties. Families can also ask you to teach the kids some English.
Process
We meet for our interview and discuss all the questions. We give you all the documents you need in order to complete your portfolio and go over all documents needed. Everything will be explained to you in detail and if you have any questions we go over it. The profile documentation and profile assistance fee is payable.
Once you got all the needed documents together and completed the application forms you hand it back to us in person, per post or email.
Upon receipt of the documents, our head office will go through your portfolio and send it through to the office in Spain. The 2nd fee is payable at this stage. Your profile will be entered into our partners database and you will be matched with a Spanish family. Families will Skype with you once or twice and ask you questions to make sure you are the right Au Pair for their family. Then the family will invite you to come and stay with them. If you accept we call it a match.
Once you’ve matched with a family then the matching fee is due.
We organize the visa appointment for you at the Spanish embassy.
Tourist info
Visit big cities like Madrid and barcelona where you can go sightseeing places like park, castle and cathedral.
Then you can go to Ibiza or Tenerife to see the beautiful beaches.

Every Friday the au pair list is updated and send it to all au pairs placed in Spain with useful information about cultural events.
